When one is sending a string of numbers (or letters) and one makes a mistake in the middle of the string, one sends a series of 8 dits. Now what? Does one send the correction and then continue with the string or does one start the string from the beginning? |

Hello Colin, Thanks for writing. The common practice is INDEED to send a string of dits after an error, then resume sending the correct/corrected message. We all use it - distractions happen while sending (or being all thumbs at times). 73 Bart Jahnke, W9JJ, ARRL Radiosport Manager |
