Spacing Ground Plane Wires

I will be installing 40 ground plane wires that are 65' each this weekend. I once heard there is a simple formula using a string at a particular length that goes to the end of the ground plane wires so that they are spaced evenly going around the antenna? Do you have any suggestions or knowledge of this technique that can help me space them evenly? I guess I can eyeball it... But wanted to check here first.
