| Currently my favorite rig for QRP contests is an Orion 2. Yes it does get down sightly less than 5 watts. I have a couple of SW??+ rigs in the works to try contesting with them. Modded they have a receive current of about 20ma. Should be interesting. | ||

| I would like to homebrew a fairly complete qrp transceiver all from Radio Shack parts. Simple, robust, VFO, 40M and 20M with perhaps a tuner for portable operation. If I had the time that is probably what I would like to do. | ||
