The Menifee Valley Amateur Radio club (MVARC) aims to promote Amateur Radio, offer a forum for members, support local events, assist with FCC licensing, and guide members.

Nets on the W6CDW

MVARC Nets:
MVARC net is every Tuesday at 6:30 PM (1830) Pacific Time using 2-meter and 1.25-meters repeaters.

220 Net is one hour later, on Tuesday at 7:30 PM (1930) Pacific Time using the W6CDW Elsinore Peak 1.25-meter repeater on 224.700 MHz, (-1.6 MHz offset) PL 131.8.  We welcome licensed guest check-ins and their contributions.”

RACES/ARES Emergency Service Net:
Every Wednesday at 7:30 PM (1930) Pacific Time using the 2-meter repeater by MVARC members.

Lake Elsinore LDS Emergency Preparedness Group:
Roll call is conducted on Sunday at 8:30 PM (2030) Pacific Time on simplex frequency 144.355 MHz, followed immediately by another roll call on the 2-meter repeater at approximately 8:40 PM (2040) Pacific Time. Net control is Russ N7DW.

11pm (2300) Pacific Time nightly on 2-meter repeater.

A slightly less formal get-together. Amateur Radio Decorum is still in effect.

 

Northwest Riverside County Ares Net:

On the 4th Thursday of the month at 7pm (1900) Pacific Time ARES drills, including digital transmissions for Winlink and other systems. 2-meter repeater
